We awoke to a grey, hazy morning of fog in our valley.. we lazied (or, I did) around hoping the sun would show its brilliant face. Slowly... slowly... the fog rolled out to the water, and the sun was high and bright. We drove out to our friends' homesteaded property we were introduced to last night and took a couple pictures. It was a beautiful, warm Saturday.

It was warm with SNOW?! But that picture is gorgeous and makes me want to go to Alaska so very, very badly.
